I am Manasa, a student from Government High School, Chickkabidarkallu. I appeared for the Jeevith Talent Search Examination (JTSE) 2023 at Jeevith Residential PU College, Bengaluru – 24.  

To be honest, I was quite nervous during the exam. Around 1,500 students participated, and most of them  were from private schools. I didn’t think I stood a chance of winning the scholarship or the prize money. I had  simply studied my Class 10 textbooks thoroughly and practiced some additional MCQ books related to  my syllabus.  

Though I was anxious, I was pleasantly surprised to find that almost everything I had studied appeared in the  examination. The paper went well, but I never imagined I would be the topper among 1,500 students.  

About ten days later, while I was playing outside, my father came running towards me with tears of joy in his  eyes. He told me that I had secured Rank – 2 in JTSE 2023! I was speechless for a few moments – it felt  truly unreal.  

A month later, Jeevith Residential PU College organized a grand felicitation program, where I was  honoured and awarded a cheque of Rs.50,000. Seeing my father’s eyes filled with pride, joy, and hope was  one of the most beautiful and emotional moments of my life.  

(Today, the first prize amount for JTSE has been increased to Rs.2,00,000 — an even greater motivation for  every student to aim high!)  

As my education at Jeevith was fully sponsored because of my rank, I decided to join their PU program –  and guess what? I absolutely love it. No regrets at all!

All the staff members were incredibly supportive. No matter how small or silly my question seemed, it was  always answered with patience, care, and without any judgment.  

The strict study hours at the institute helped me stay disciplined and focused. These sessions were guided by  the faculty members, who were also highly skilled and dedicated. The tests conducted were of an exceptional  standard, on par with national level competitive examinations.  

To keep us constantly motivated, the management introduced a unique reward system in the PU Board  Examination conducted by the KSEAB Karnataka — Rs.2,000 for scoring 100/100 in one subject in 1st  PUC and Rs.5,000 in 2nd PUC. (They have informed me that I shall receive this amount in the felicitation  program conducted in December this year.)  

I must say, the institute truly understands the core psychology of students — they know exactly how to keep  us motivated, disciplined, and focused throughout the academic year.  

In March 2025, I appeared for my Karnataka PU Board Examination and scored 100/100 in all subjects  except English (95/100), Mathematics (99/100) achieving a total of 594/600 marks. I secured the 6th Rank in  Karnataka and 1st Rank in North Bengaluru.  

Today, I am pursuing my Engineering at one of the top institutes in Karnataka. As I look back, I am  filled with immense gratitude and pride for the institution that shaped my academic journey, strengthened my  confidence, and gave me a sense of purpose.  

To all my juniors studying in Class 10 across Karnataka — I wholeheartedly encourage you to appear for  the JTSE (Jeevith Talent Search Examination).
